Anders was birthed in Madison and was raised in DeForest. However, she lives in Los Angeles. She has graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993; and received the Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she earned a master's degree in fine arts from Rutgers University. Anders was with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until the year 2015. The two met on the set of Joey the show that ended in a sitcom.
